Paul Somers has responsibility for origination, lending and credit management. Paul joined ISTC in August 2006 after 10 years at Anglo Irish Bank where he held the position of Director, Credit Products. In this role, Paul had overall responsibility for the corporate credit, structured finance and bond investments, international finance and balance sheet management. He was also a member of the Bank’s Asset & Liability Committee and Treasury Board. Prior to Anglo, Paul spent 7 years as a corporate banking manager at Smurfit Paribas Bank and started his career at the Industrial Development Authority. Paul graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 1983 with a B.A. in Mathematics.
